Wednesdays – Dublin

Route 66 at the Turk’s Head, Parliament Street, Dublin 2 from 8:00 – 11:00 pm
Every Wednesday night in the Turk’s Head, we host “Route 66”, our Swing social night! Doors open at 7:50 pm, and admission is €8 (or more if there is a live band playing). There’s an easy drop-in beginners East Coast Swing class 8:00 – 9:00 pm approximately (see the Classes page for more info about the lesson), followed by DJed swing dancing until 11:00 pm (sometimes later!). You don’t need to bring a partner, just a desire to have some fun!

The night also includes a “Beyond the Basics” class from 7:00 – 7:45 pm (again, times are approximate). This class is aimed at people who have been coming to the Beginners lesson for at least a few weeks, are comfortable with the dance, and want to start learning more challenging moves. Don’t worry, this is still a drop-in class, so you don’t have to sign up in advance or anything.

Mondays – Dublin

Happy Feet at The Grand Social, 35 Lower Liffey Street, Dublin 1.
There’s a beginners class at 8:00 pm followed by social dancing. At 7:00 pm there is an Improvers class. From 9:00 pm there is social dancing to DJ swing music. It’s €10 for the evening, or buy a block of 10 (Lindy Dollars) for €60 – making it just €6 a night. For more information, go to the DubLindy Happy Feet page.

Thursdays – Dublin

Blues at Arthur’s Pub on Thomas Street, Dublin 8.
